Fresno Pepper Peach Chutney

What exactly is chutney? (Hint: It’s not relish or jam). Chutney is a savory condiment made from slow cooked fruits or vegetables, vinegar and spices. It originated in India but has since traveled the globe. Today, every region has its own take. In Florida, we do ours with ripe fruit— tropical, sweet and tangy.

These are our Top 10 ways to eat chutney, but there are so many more: Add to chicken salad, serve with charcuterie board, purée for meatball glaze, serve alongside roast turkey, pour over warm goat cheese, serve with any pork dish, spread on grilled burgers, purée as dipping sauce for egg rolls, mix with Greek yogurt to make dip, serve alongside grilled sausage.
