Fresno Pepper Tomato Chutney
After chutney made its way out of India, each country put its own spin on the popular condiment, with ingredients like apricots, raisins, coconut, mint and tamarind. But super-versatile tomato chutney is popular all over the world, and for good reason. Our tomato chutney is sweet and tangy, featuring subtle floral hints and light spice.
Ways to use tomato chutney are limited only by the imagination, but we couldn’t let our peach chutney get the only Top 10 list! Here’s our 10 favorite uses: Slather on a grilled cheese sandwich, add to meatloaf before baking, serve cold alongside warm pork sausage pie, add to vinaigrette for salad dressing, stir into rice to make a pilaf, mix half chutney half mayonnaise and serve on burgers, toss with broccoli, carrots or green beans, serve atop pecan crusted catfish, spread on fried chicken sliders, spoon over chive & coriander frittatas.
